UGSA Members represent a variety of specialties, including urogynaecology, gynaecology, general practice, urology, physiotherapy and continence nursing.

As the subspecialty of urogynaecology has grown, a defined body of knowledge and scope of practice has emerged, and today, urogynaecology is acknowledged as a distinct discipline by medical professionals internationally. UGSA was the first urogynaecology society dedicated to advancing the field and improving women's health outcomes.

UGSA Members are Multidisciplinary Medical Professionals

The membership consists of a distinguished community of surgeons, physicians, researchers, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, and other allied health professionals with a sustained interest in women's continence and pain management, from a variety of disciplines and work settings and are involved in basic research, clinical research and treatment, advocacy and public policy.
