Dr Payam Nikpoor

Dr Payam Nikpoor is a gynaecologist, urogynaecologist and pelvic reconstruction surgeon.

Payam has a Persian background where he obtained his primary medical degree and moved to Australia in 2007. Payam started his training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Adelaide and moved to Melbourne to subspecialise in the field of “urogynaecology”. During this time he undertook extensive training at Mercy Hospital for Women and Monash Health Pelvic Floor Unit.

Currently, a fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and a Certified Urogynaecologist (CU), he works as a consultant Urogynaecologist at Monash Health Dandenong Hospital and has been appointed as deputy head of pelvic floor unit.
